WHAT IS THE NATIONAL & FOREIGN MISSIONS BOARD?

It is the Missions department of the Pentecostal Assemblies of God in Zambia

Who we are

Our mission and what we believe

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

Members of the PAOG-Z NFMB believe:

  • The bible is the only rule for Christian faith and conduct.
  • In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the father, and in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule over the nations.
  • That the only means of salvation is through repentance towards God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone and that this results in regeneration by the Holy Spirit.
  • That the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides the healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.
  • That the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the outward evidence of speaking in tongues according to Acts 2 is given to believing prayer.
  • In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
  • In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the one to everlasting life

Our Mission

Our primary concern is to advance God’s mission as revealed in the Biblical narrative. Missions (plural) is our human response to God’s revelation, resulting in God’s kingdom being extended through faith in Christ.

The Missions Board has taken off running with the mandate to advance the mission of Christ and has come up with easy and quick ways for you to participate in the sending out of evangelists, equipping leaders of today and tomorrow , meeting the needs of the vulnerable and many more activities to advance the mission of Christ.

We call you to participate and find your place in this most urgent mission as we fulfil the greatest commission and mandate our Saviour gave us - to preach the gospel to everyone!
